TAMARA SMITH

Tamara Smith is an accomplished Health & Wellness Coach in Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Sports Medicine and Health and Wellness. A former athlete on the Junior National Olympic Luge Team, she holds multiple certifications, including C.P.T, C.E.S, P.E.S, and W.L.S. from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and is a certified ELDOA I & II practitioner and Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming and Mental and Emotional Release. With over 10,000 hours of personal training experience, she earned the Trainer Fit Pro Elite designation, and has worked with a range of clients, including developing the Industrial Athlete Program to support corporate wellness. Her program, which included assessments, wellness coaching, ergonomic training, and stress management, had a 94.4% completion rate for over 350 employees. Tamara’s work has been published in the NASM Online Fitness Journal and IDEA Fitness Journal, and during the pandemic, she coached hundreds of clients through Noom, leveraging behavior change theories. Outside of her professional life, Tamara is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and paddleboarding.
